Now that’s an interesting question…
My answer is: no and the proof is in the seduction. The narcissist seeks out empaths, kind-hearted individuals who are sensitive to other people’s emotional pain. The empaths have great difficulty separating their own feelings from the strong impressions created within them by other people’s feelings. The empaths must necessarily lack boundaries in order to use their gift of empathy, being able to feel other people’s feelings. If empaths could block out the outside world, then they wouldn’t feel compelled to help others with their strong emotional needs. Therefore, empaths are somewhat exposed and lacking in awareness of self-protection. This openness, sensitivity, and self-nullification make the empath the best possible target for the narcissist. Why? Because the narcissist will make a profit on his investment. In other words, the time, flattery, gifts, and fake emotional attention that the narcissist must invest during the Grooming Phase will undoubtedly harvest him a target who will give him narcissistic supply – because – the empathy will become emotionally entwined super quickly due to their inability to distinguish between external emotions and internal emotions. By contrast, non-empaths sometimes figure out what the narcissist is up to and then leave. Non-empaths have boundaries and they can enforce them.
So we have the narcissist seeking out empaths because they have a higher percentage of becoming successful targets. Seducing empaths pays off better than seducing people who have a firm understanding of personal boundaries.
Next comes the twin flame part…
The narcissist seduces the empath by convincing them that they are the only true mate for them. There is no-one else in the entire population of the entire world who makes the narcissist feel alive like the empath does. There is no-one who makes the narcissist feel understood and safe like the empath does. There is no-one who makes the narcissist feel hopeful and confident like the empath does. The narcissist is convinced that God made them to be together.
But it is all lies.
That is the proof that the twin flame really does exist: because the narcissist uses it to seduce the empath.
The empath is gifted in emotions, right? But the narcissist is completely devoid of emotions (love). Therefore, the narcissist uses logic to extrapolate the best possible outcome for an emotional, human love relationship and then offers it to the empath. The narcissist could seduce with money, by pretending to be a self-made millionaire or an entrepreneur, as they often do – but empaths don’t care about money. The narcissist could seduce with fame by pretending to be a visiting dignitary or a valued assistant to the mayor or the future king of Denmark, as they often do – but empaths don’t care about titles. No, the narcissist vanquishes the empath by offering the most-desired Twin Flame, the person who could love the empath as deeply as the empath loves others.
But this seduction technique could never work if Twin Flame wasn’t a real thing. If we can love others with total abandon and self-sacrifice, than surely someone else could love us to the same level. It is not impossible at all. In fact, it is probable.
