Ha! That reminds me of the time I picked up the ex’s phone to text one of his friends because he was driving and he wanted to ask the guy a question. I can’t stand when people text and drive. When I picked it up from between the seats he grabbed it right outta my hand.
Damn! Did you make the connection? I’m not sure I would have realized why he did that. (I know better now.)
At the time I was in lots of denial. But it occurred to me to ask him about it later…like days later. He was separated at the time and he claimed his stbx had been texting him asking him to come over and do the nasty…although using a different word. He claimed that he didn’t want me to see that and have to explain when he wasn’t the one doing anything.
I bought it. But told him he needed to start setting boundaries with her. Ugh! There’s a do over I wish I had.
I hear you. We don’t need to feel embarrassed because our partners tricked us. They did the lying, not us.
Hey that works both ways!
Of course it does, Gary! No offense meant! But. you know, women cheaters are sneakier. We would know better than to leave our call record on the phone!
